Hello everybody!
My name is Aldo, LU7HQW. I'm from Argentina, and passionated in APRS, packet radio and homebrewing.
Love DIY stuff.
Now using a couple of forks of Mark's code (Digipeater and TNC KISS bluetooth), but i want to deep in his code, and make my best contribution to micromodem and microAPRS projects. At least as betatester.

Hi everybody! Steve KC1AWV here. RNode is what got me interested, and now there's a lot more stuff here to play around with. Exciting!

Hi,
KE8DCJ here @ EN57G. Although I have some phone HF radios, and have dipoles up for 20m and 80m, I primarily am interested in data transmission via VHF using TCP/IP. In the Keweenaw, we have a well established legacy packet network. There has been some interest in mesh networking with AREDN, but because of the terrain, and lack of grid power, there aren't any working rf nodes. I gave up on AREDN, and have been concentrating on sending telemetry with old packet TNCs. In fact, I have rounded up all the old TNCs from the area clubs and been refurbishing them. I have been able to operate packet radios/tnc/RPi combinations in the bush from 12v battery/solar power supplies during the winter months here, with some robust success.
My goal here is to implement tncattach and learn how to send tcp/ip via vhf. Thanks Mark for developing this protocol.

Very cool to hear about Bruce, and thanks for the introduction! I've always been very interested in living in a place like that. The best I could do here in Denmark is the little plot of forest I currently have Looking forward to hearing more about your experiments, and what you can get up and running. I'm sure there's a lot of interesting lessons to be learned here!

And KC1AWV, welcome as well! Sorry missed your post at first Your user is active now as well!

Hi all - Kevin, M0AHN here. tncattach brought me to the site and currently i'm trying to get it working with a fellow radio amateur. I am very interested in data over amateur radio - i am also experimenting with NPR and soon to be LoRa too.

Hello, I'm Matt. I'm completely new to LoRa and really all of this, but excited to learn more! RNode seems very interesting and besides just trying to learn more in general, I'm trying to see if something like that makes sense for me.

Zabrolak here, trying to advertise rnodes to my enviromental physics friends, got a fresh pair... First tries of tncattach+configuring IP addrs failed, so forum is the next step

Hello,
I intend on obtaining some RNodes. I hope to be able to use them and reticulum to create an OTG (off the grid) intranet that could evolve into a parallel text based Internet connected in a hybrid fashion consisting of several ptp and ptmp Rnodes, copper and fiber connections and VPN connections (Internet Gateways) that would/could reward (via blockchain or cryptocuurency?) contributors to expanding said network. I posted this fantasy of mine on Reddit in subreddit fidonet.
I lack many skills needed to accomplish this, but am willing to learn and hopefully motivate those with such skills to create this.
Also just wanted to express my gratitude for Marks creations and efforts thus far.
Cheers!
