Katapult is a very flexible mapping application for the Novation Launchpad. It allows you to map customisable multipage layouts to the Launchpad and send the MIDI output to any MIDI application or device.

Have a look at www.midikatapult.com for all the details!

I started writing MIDI Katapult in 2009 and actively developed it for some years, but I do not have the time to continue development on this project anymore, so the program is now completely free. All source-code is on GitHub.

  1. Hej Mark.

First thanks for the Katapult for the launchpad. Great tool.

Was wandering can it be used with more than one Launchpad.

    1. Hi Andrew!
Unfortunately, in it’s current form, it cannot directly. If you can run multiple instances of the Katapult program, you should actually be able to do it, but I don’t know how tricky it would turn out to be.

      1. Hi Mark.
Me again, I have tried to look into the code to see if I could extend Katapult to use any type of LP.

Not much luck opening the project using the Processing 2 IDE.

Was Katapult developed on and older IDE?

        Thanks in advance
        Andrew.

        1. Hi Andrew!
Yeah, it was developed with a much older version of Processing, some 1.x release, unfortunately I don’t remember :( I might have a look at getting it running in Processing 2 some day, but at the moment I am busy with other projects, so for now you’re on your own… Hope you can figure it out though :)

  2. Hey guys, i was wondering if somebody could provide me the code to unlock this. I’ve heard this has become freeware. i was wondering if anybody could provide the passcode to unlock it. the midikatapult site is down at the moment. I would really appreciate it. :)
